Why we are the coolest charity in the world

We believe in keeping things simple and transparent. That’s why we make sure that 100% of your donation goes directly to our programmes abroad. No hidden costs, no overhead deductions. We also show you clearly what happens with your money, what projects it supports and what results it helps achieve. You’ll always see where your contribution ends up.

Your donation will help us:

– Improving the quality of our current programmes
– Expanding our reach to more communities in need
– Encouraging long-term sustainability in all our initiatives

Every contribution, big or small, helps us move forward.

What does our charity do?

The projects of The Power of Sports are specifically designed for children and young people who come from disadvantaged neighbourhoods and currently have no access to structured sports lessons. Our aim is to offer these children and young people the opportunity to practice their favourite sport and excel, even at national level or at renowned clubs. In addition, we use sport as a powerful tool to keep this target group away from crime, drug use and gang culture and we encourage more female participation in sports. Our programmes have proven effects, and we are happy to share our impact reports to illustrate this.

How we Work

Our foundation is committed to utilizing the talent of young people, developing social skills, improving health, making social problems discussable, initiating intercultural communication and promoting social cohesion in neighborhoods. All of this is done with sport as the main pillar. Because unfortunately, sport is not self-evident for everyone, for example due to a lack of financial resources. Stichting The Power of Sports does want to make sport self-evident. Because the great thing about sport is that it is considered a universal language, regardless of origin, religion, language, culture or status. The structure we use in each country is showed to the right of this text.
